Spelling/Vocabulary words are derived from the Wonders Reading Curriculum. The curriculum is divided into six units. Each unit is divided into six individual weeks. Students receive 8 spelling/vocabulary words each week that
correspond to a particular reading theme. Students are expected to not only know how to spell a particular word, but also how to use the word in its correct context.
