McKinney, TX - The National Club Baseball Association, a division of
CollClubSports, is pleased to announce Gabe Nesbitt Stadium in McKinney, TX as the host
site for the 2013 NCBA Gulf Coast Division I Regional. The NCBA recently agreed in
principle to the deal which will once again feature a four-team double elimination playoff
format. The winner of each Gulf Coast Division I conference (North, South, & East) advances
to the event along with 1 At-Large team selected by the NCBA staff. The winner of the
regional advances to the NCBA World Series to play for the National Championship.
McKinney, Texas is located just 30
miles north of the Dallas-Ft. Worth
metro area. Built in 2005, Gabe
Nesbitt Stadium (aka The “Gabe”)
seats approximately 1,027 fans and
has a press box, full stadium
lighting, a concession stand, and
bathrooms. The park is located in a
complex of baseball fields known
as the Ballfields at Craig Ranch and
is currently home to the McKinney
Marshals of the Texas Collegiate
League. While visiting the “Gabe”,
teams and fans will enjoy a pristine
playing surface, spacious dugouts, a
PA announcer and music for the
games, a 9-inning scoreboard, foldout stadium seats, and an excellent concession stand. Fans
not able to be in attendance can follow all the action online with a live game tracker.
The 2013 Gulf Coast Regional will begin on Friday, May 10, 2013 with games at 3 PM and 6
PM. Games will continue the following day, Saturday, May 11, 2013, with play taking place
at 12 PM, 3 PM, and 6 PM. Action will conclude on Sunday, May 12, 2013 with the games at
12 PM and 3 PM (if necessary). Games will be played in 9-inning format and the tournament
will be double elimination. Tickets will be $10/tournament passes and $5/single day passes.
The NCBA is also pleased to announce the La Quinta Inn & Suites - McKinney as the
official hotel of the 2013 regional. The hotel is conveniently located within 2 minutes of the
stadium. All teams in the 2013 regional will be required to stay at the official regional hotel, so
the NCBA has worked out a great deal for players and fans to stay at a discounted rate of
$65/night. To reserve rooms, call 972-908-2370 and mention that you’re a member of the

rate! The block expires on 4/29/13.
