How can you help your son/daughter?





Ensuring that they have a quiet place within the house for
them to work.
Going through the work with your son/daughter and ensuring
that they can recall all of the required information. Revision is
not just about reading through their books. Most students
learn best by completing exam questions and other activities
that help them to recall the information they have learnt.
If possible, allow them to access websites such as BBC Bitesize
and others outlined in this leaflet which provide examples and
tests to check their understanding.
Ensure that they attend every day and attend all Intervention
Sessions that they are required to attend.
Making sure that they go to bed at a sensible time so that they
are ready to learn every morning.
