Dan Wardell’s Summer Reading Road Trip

Join us for IPTV's Dan Wardell's annual Summer
Reading Road Trip. This will be Dan's only
Summer Road Trip appearance in Black Hawk
County. Come ready to move, participate in the
story, and have fun! Please note there are two
identical sessions at 9:30 and 10:30.

Cultural Literacy Series Event
Wednesday, June 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Meeting Room
Dema Kazkaz, president of Al Noor Islamic Center of Waterloo, will
present "Refugees of the Syrian Civil War". This presentation will cover
issues surrounding the Syrian refugee crisis, including refugee
acceptance in the United States. Ms. Kazkaz will be happy to
answer questions at the end of her presentation. This event is the
second in Cedar Falls Public Library’s Cultural Literacy Series. The
Library will host one event a month during this series.
