On the first day, various aspects of prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, antepartum conditions, and maternal complications of pregnancy are covered. The second day is largely devoted to fetal heart rate interpretation and management of fetal heart rate patterns. The third day continues with discussions of potential complications of pregnancy and appropriate management. The course is designed for physicians, midwives, obstetric nurses, and trainees. The faculty instructors are internationally known through their clinical and basic research, scholarly articles, and texts. The faculty are highly qualified, certified by their respective specialties, and the majority are qualified or eligible for the subspecialty division of Maternal Fetal Medicine of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. ACCREDITATION The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of 18.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
