The College World Series is a distinct Omaha tradition dating all the way back to
1950. Each summer, people from all over the country flock to our city to watch the
series of NCAA Division I Baseball Championship games at TD Ameritrade Park. In
addition to the games, there is so much to do around the stadium throughout the
series!
Whether you live in Omaha or you’re simply visiting during the CWS happening June
18 through 28 or 29, you may be wondering what you can do in the area to maximize
the experience. From inside the stadium walls, to out on the streets, to inside nearby
restaurants and bars, we’re here to take your CWS experience to the next level.
Restaurants
Perhaps the closest restaurant to the ballpark is Blatt Beer & Table. Head to their
North Downtown location to grab a craft beer and some curated pub food. Dig into a
greasy burger or keep things light with a fresh salad — both of which work well with
their exceptional selection of beers!
