GROUP EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS






























Active Older Adults (AOA): Low impact cardio at a faster pace for very active older adults that can keep up with the tempo
of a beat! All levels are welcome.
Beginner Line Dance: The basic line dances taught at a slower pace to help those who want to eventually try more advanced
line dancing. No experience necessary and no partner needed.
Beginner Yoga: Basic breathing and body positions for those beginning with Yoga.
BODYATTACK™ : A Les Mills sports-inspired cardio workout that’s all about improving your speed, fitness, strength, and
agility.
BODYPUMP™ : The original Les Mills barbell class, will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast! Focusing on low
weight loads and high repetition movements, you'll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning.
BodyShred® by Jillian Michaels: A 30 minute high intensity that works the three major area of the body in a 3-2-1 minute
format. Guaranteed to make you sweat!
Boot Camp: Traditional callisthenic and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. It also includes various
forms of skipping, jumping rope, and interval training that involves bursts of high intensity work.
Chair Aerobics/Silver Sneakers®: This class provides exercises for those that are less mobile or who have been inactive for
extended periods of time. The majority of the class is done in the chair.
Chair Yoga/Silver Sneakers®: This class provides exercises for those that are less mobile or who have been inactive for
extended periods of time. The majority of the class is done in the chair.
Core: Target and challenge the abdominals, back, and hips in this intense and dynamic workout. You will learn how to
effectively strengthen the core using proper form and technique.
CrossFit: A workout designed to optimize physical competence in each of the ten recognized fitness domains, such as
stamina, agility, and strength.
Curobiks: This workout is a mixture of calisthenics, aerobics, and line dancing. All fitness levels can enjoy this class!
CXWORX™ : A Les Mills format that tightens and tones core muscles, improves functionality, and strengthens the body for
mobility and injury prevention.
Cycle: Get excited about losing weight as you burn calories pedaling to the music in this studio cycling class.
Devotion in Motion: This class is for the early rider and riser! Great music and a great workout to jumpstart your day!
Dance Fusion: A total body, high energy, cardio dance class that infuses styles of dance and exercises to work the upper,
lower, and core. This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Family Boot Camp: For ages 5-12. Callisthenic and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. It also
includes various forms of skipping, jumping rope, and interval training that involves bursts of high intensity work. Parents are
welcome to join their kids for the workout.
Fit Kids: A class that keeps youth moving from activity to activity. It combines both resistance training as well as
cardiovascular fitness. A great class that keeps kids interested!
Hip Hop Step: An upbeat and innovative way to do step using the latest hip hop music while working out the entire body!
Intro to ZUMBA®: This class is designed for the beginner with Zumba ®. Latin music and beats so you can begin to learn the
format of the class and still burn calories while having fun at the same time!
Jump Rope: Variations of jumping using a rope that involves speed, chants, varied rope, and jumper movement patterns.
Line Dance: A fun way to burn calories and get in shape! No experience necessary and no partner needed.
Low Impact: Designed for variable intensity and little impact. NO Step in this class. Muscle conditioning, abs, and stretch.
Step Combo: This class is designed to combine step aerobics and other formats, like core, into one class! All are welcome!
Tai-Chi: A Chinese exercise that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation for the body and mind.
U-JAM: An athletic hip-hop dance fitness workout that combines dance and high energy music for a workout that is bound to
get your heart rate up, your body moving, and make you work up a sweat—all while having fun.
Yoga: Class teaches how to focus your energy and regain your inner peace. Improve physical strength by using breathing to
connect spirit, mind, and body. This class is great for muscle imbalances, pain, and reducing stress.
Youth Dance: Geared to let kids explore the many styles of dance. Great instructor and great fun! Ages 5-14 are welcome.
ZUMBA®: Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to
dance away their worries!
ZUMBA Gold®: This class is perfect for active older adults looking to dance and move to the Latin beats at a lower intensity
than a normal ZUMBA® class offers.
Group Exercise Policies:
 For safety of children, only those 12 years and older are permitted in classes unless the class is indicated for kids under the
age of 12 years old.
 Due to the inability to warm-up properly and an increased risk for injury, please refrain from entering class after the first 15
minutes.
 Unless otherwise noted as an Intermediate and Advanced level class, our classes are suitable for all fitness levels.
 Unless otherwise noted, all classes are 55 minutes long.
 Instructors will show options and modifications to meet your needs.
 Classes are subject to review each schedule change and 10 participants must be coming regularly for the class to remain.
