Conscious Conception:
Addressing Energetic Issues
co n s c i o u s co n c e pt i o n
This month we’re deepening our relationship with our bodies by diving into your electromagnetic
emotional field. In every ancient medical model, the connection between how we are feeling
and how our body and its organs function are well established. When it comes to the miraculous
nature of conception, it’s so much more than sperm and egg meeting. Your energy as it relates
to motherhood, conceiving, your body, your partner, your living situation, your commitments – all
affect your EMF in ways that can slow down the process of conception. This month, I want you
to continue with the food practice, but I want you also to explore the 5 key energetic issues that
might be blocking your path to conception. Use these journaling prompts to continue working
through each of them. This process will simply allow whatever emotion is actually stuck in an
organ or inhibiting your reproductive process to rise to the surface of your consciousness and as
such, your body won’t have to hold it for you any longer. I want your body to be a clear channel
for your most conscious conception to happen.
Part 1: Explore 5 key energetic conception blockers
Sit down with some paper and a pen and a cup of raspberry leaf tea and allow yourself to explore
without judgement any thoughts you free associate with the following journaling prompts. Don’t
edit or censor yourself, the purpose of this is really to get it all out from our overlooked mental
corners and emotional blind spots.
1. Feminine Energy
Are you often in your masculine energy, i.e. the go-go-go, doing, goal-driven mode?
How comfortable with and how often are you receiving support?
From gifts to compliments to actual help?
How do you feel when you have unstructured time?
How do you express yourself creatively now?
2. Motherhood
What is your cultural inheritance around motherhood?
What did you observe your mother and other mother-figures doing when you were growing up?
Do you feel connected to your nurturing, mothering energy on a daily basis?
How do you express that now?
Is there anything about that expression that feels out of balance to you?
Are you a people pleaser, lacking in boundaries, over giver, put everyone else first?
Ovulation has likely not happened, and if it has it is problematic for conception.

3. Fears around Conceiving
Did you ever in your life make an energetic commitment to not get pregnant?
What deeper fears or beliefs do you have about conceiving?
Is there any emotional stress you are holding from learning about sex in school or from being
sexual in early relationships?
4. Making Space
How do you feel about slowing down more?
How do you feel about having constraints placed on your schedule?
How will you handle the demands of motherhood and career?
Is there one symbolic way now you can “do less” daily leading up to motherhood?
5. Conscious Conception
What would you say to in a letter to your uterus?
Are you holding any resentment toward your body surrounding your fertility?
What does that inner dialogue sound like?
Are you willing to forgive yourself and your body?
How do you feel about inviting a soul to come through your body?
What does it mean to you to say yes to that experience?
What other possibilities arise in your yes to this experience of motherhood?

Part 2 - Taking Action Towards Energetic Shifts
When talking about energetic shifts, it can be hard to actually translate them into actionable
steps that you can apply to your life now. The following are some examples for you to use and
adopt in your own life that can help you apply all that you’ve been learning in this module. Keep
in mind that the changes do not have to be drastic to be effective. For example, you might not
need to quit your job to make more space in your life, but you could take the step of setting more
boundaries around your time at the office to help you feel more spacious with your time and
energy. Continuing reading for some examples
Examples:
r
Give yourself permission to do less and say “no” more often. This will create more
boundaries around your time and more energetic space in your life.
r
Add more of what you love into your current job. Make it feel more pleasurable and more in
line with your passions. This will help your creative energy activate, which is what you need
for your fertility!
r
Make a commitment to fully accept and receive compliments from others. Instead of
making excuses or diverting the attention, just say “thank you so much.” This will help
exercise your feminine energy of receiving.
My action steps:
(write down the ones you’d like to start applying now!)

Part 3 – After the Program
Congratulations! You’ve come to the completion of the Fertile FLO Program! Remember that
the lifestyle shifts you’ve been implementing are going to continue to support your fertility and
hormonal balance the more and more you practice them.
We’ve created a checklist for you to help you maintain all of the fabulous changes you’ve
initiated, and to know what to look for as time goes on.
o Get a bloodwork check up in December or January
o Continue following the meal templates and eating guidelines
o Continue tracking your cycle daily
o Stay in touch with this group on the facebook group
o Schedule your follow-up call with Katie
Look out for these positive signs of optimal fertility and hormonal balance:
• Clear, stretchy cervical fluid and lots of it
• Solid, healthy bowel movements 1-2 times/day
• Stable blood sugar, which means no extreme cravings or crashes throughout the day
• Natural energy not derived from caffeine
• Low stress levels, which means no anxiety or not sleeping because of worried thoughts
• Pleasurable activities each day
My FLO Living team and I look forward to hearing your updates in all areas of your life!
With love,
Alisa
