cookies bagged by 3’s or 4’s, label contents i.e. nuts, and gluten free. Also

Bakers Needed for In-A-Pinch: On Tuesday, July 12, we will be hosting the
meal at the In-A-Pinch non-food essentials pantry, one of our long-time
Mission partners. If you can bake a batch of cookies or brownies or bars of
some sort, please sign up on the sheet in the vestibule. If you’d like Debbie
Lamb to deliver the baked goods to In-A-Pinch, please contact her at 282-2644

Calling forth your gifts: Life Lessons. We are so fortunate to have so many
reflective, spritual members in our congregation. Beginning this July we will
have one service each month called Life Lessons Sunday. (We’ll try it for three
months to see how this works, and if you like it). Each month will have a
different theme. All are welcome to send in a prayer, picture, poem, thoughts,
story, phrase, etc. (maybe even compose a song) related to the subject of the
month. I will use as many as I can in my sermon, prayers, reflection in the
bulletin, awakening, etc. I will site your contribution or keep you anonymous, as
you wish. I want to put together a flowing order of service and sermon and so
may not use all contributions on that particular Sunday, but will file all unused
submissions for future use. The first Life Lessons Sunday service will be on
July 24. The theme will be, Lessons from the Sea. We are so fortunate to live
on the coast. How have you benefitted? What has it taught you? Let’s learn
from each other. It needn’t be anything long or profound – just what is
meaningful to you.
Our second Life Lessons Sunday will be August 14 - Lessons from My Pet.
Life Lessons Sunday, September 18- Lessons from My Hobby.

Local Artist: Some of John Forssen’s (our own barefoot boy) graphite
drawings are now on display at the Whitney Gallery in Wells --open
Wednesdays 1-5 pm and Thurs.-thur-Sat. 10-6 p.m. Additional
drawings (not on display) may be viewed by request, and he will
happily consider any idea you may have for a drawing.

July 4th – Biddeford Pool Fourth of July parade begins at 10:00 a.m.
followed by a Boat Parade & Blessing of the Fleet, then a re-enactment
of Richard Vines’ Landing in 1616, and a fundraising cook-out put on by
the BPVolunteer Fire Dept.
July 10th – Communion Sunday. When receiving Communion, you may take
from the half loaf, which is regular bread, or take a cube of gluten-free bread.
The cups contain non-alcoholic grape juice. All are welcome. John Boisvert,
Director of the Alternative Pathways Center will offer a Mission Moment. Lisa
Barstow will give the sermon.
