The ease of reaching our Transplant Center may be just one additional reason patients select our program for their transplant
care and/or for an excellent multiple listing option. Knowing that we will establish a life-long relationship, travel is a
consideration and we are readily available to offer assistance.
The UW Health Transplant Program is located at UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. Travel to Madison is accessible
via several easy-to-navigate, two-lane thoroughfares including: Highway 90 from the Chicago/Rockford area, Highway 94 from
the Milwaukee area, Highway 151 from the Dubuque area and Highways 90/94 from the northwest area of Wisconsin (see map
on back of sheet). The red circles on the map indicate driving distances in 100 mile increments. Upon arrival, access to our
free parking garage is available from Highland Drive. The Transplant Clinic is conveniently located near the front entrance of the
hospital, just after you pass through the UW Health Clinics entrance.
Driving Directions
From the North: Take Hwy 51 South to Hwy 78 to I-90/94,
continue on I-90 East and exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18.

From the South: Take I-90 North and exit to Madison on Hwy
12/18. From Hwy 12/18, see the the “FROM HWY 12/18”
directions at the end of this list
From the Northeast: Take Hwy 41 South to Hwy 151. Take
I-90 East marked “Janesville,” exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18.
From Hwy 12/18, see the “FROM HWY 12/18” directions at

From the Northwest: Take I-90/94 and continue on I-90
east. Exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18. From Hwy 12/18, see

From the Southeast: Take Hwy 12/18 into Madison. From
Hwy 12/18, see the “FROM HWY 12/18” directions at the end

From the Southwest: Take Hwy 151 north into Madison. Go
north approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto University
Ave. In approximately 1 mile, bear right with University Ave.,
then turn left onto Highland Ave. Continue approximately one
quarter of a mile to the front entrance to UW Hospital and
Clinics. Turn left and proceed into the parking ramp in front of
the building.
From the East: Take I-94 West, turn left onto I-90 East
marked “Janesville,” exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18. From
Hwy 12/18, see the “FROM HWY 12/18” directions at the end
of this list.
FROM HWY 12/18: Take Exit 258 for Midvale Blvd. Go north
approximately 2.5 miles and turn right onto University Ave. In
approximately 1 mile, bear right with University Ave., then turn
left onto Highland Ave. Continue approximately one quarter of
a mile to the front entrance to UW Hospital and Clinics. Turn
left and proceed into the parking ramp in front of the building.
