Spruce Occasional Tables
The spruce series draws inspiration from conifer
cones of the alpine forest. The forms are assembled
from imbricate plates, solid wood scales arranged in
overlapping layers. The exterior of the form is then
sculpted smooth, a very labor intensive process which
rounds and softens the form.
