Please see changes to our booking arrangements for 2017 following :
IMPORTANT Please note new
booking arrangements in 2017
In order to ease the administrative load - and to reduce the likelihood of errors arising in
bookings made over the telephone, we are making a number of changes to the way tickets are
purchased, as follows :
1. If at all possible, please reserve your tickets (and suppers) for 2017 through our website :
www.grayshottconcerts.co.uk. This provides a printed record of your intentions and therefore
reduces the possibility of misunderstandings arising later.
2. Please ensure that you have joined, renewed or upgraded your ‘Friends of Grayshott
Concerts’ status BEFORE booking – or you may not get tickets appropriate to your status.
3. Please also note that this year you can rejoin ON-LINE (the first time we have been able to
offer this facility). Payments, themselves, will not be taken until after 4 Jan 2017.
4. When booking your tickets, please check that we are in possession of your current card
details. It is your responsibility to ensure this. Your reservation is secure only when we have
these correct details. Your tickets will then be charged to you on or after a point TWO calendar
months before each event.
For example, the concert on 4 March 2017 will NOT be charged to your card before 4 Jan
2017.
5. Just to remind all ‘Friends of Grayshott Concerts’: You can book for concerts and suppers
AT ANY TIME, and you will get priority booking in the best seats available when you book,
right up to TWO Calendar Months before each concert. You can, of course, amend your
requirements (increase, reduce or cancel your tickets altogether) at any time BEFORE that
point, without penalty. But whatever we hold as your reservation at that point, becomes a firm
booking and will be allocated to you accordingly. Cancellations made after that point are only
possible when all other tickets are sold and we have a waiting list. Friends are welcome to book
after the 2 month point but Friends priority will not apply.
6. Please be assured that, for those unable to access our website, we can still accept
telephone bookings on 01428 606666 between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Monday to Friday
ONLY.
7. Payments are preferred by CARD, but we shall be happy to continue to accept cash or
cheques, by prior arrangement.
8. Our aim is to keep transaction costs as low as possible. So we prefer DEBIT cards, which
are cheaper to process than CREDIT cards. We will accept either, and while DEBIT cards will
be processed FREE, CREDIT cards will attract a 2% surcharge to offset processing costs.
9. In 2017, ALL the tickets you purchase will be SENT to you by POST (to ease admin and to
avoid mistakes) so a postage/handling charge of £1.00 will be added to each transaction.
10. Tickets purchased within ONE week of an event will be held available for collection at the
door.
11. Our Terms and Conditions make clear that if, for any reason, you are unable to use your
tickets, the responsibility lies with you as the purchaser to pass them on. Only in exceptional
circumstances (and when all other tickets are sold) will we be able to make a refund, which
will, in any case, attract a handling charge of £5.00 per ticket.
