Leiby Kletzy had pleaded with his parents to be allowed to walk home from a summer-holiday day care facility in the Brooklyn suburb of Borough Park. His parents allowed him to walk part way. He rehearsed the walk with his father and had arranged to meet them at an intersection on Monday afternoon. Leiby needed to walk only seven blocks, but became lost. The two were caught on surveillance camera getting into Aron’s vehicle.
