Space Adventure Rocket
Blast off for adventure...or at least around the house! Your little ones will love
helping to decorate this super space rocket.
Materials list
• 2-liter Soda Bottle
• Construction Paper or Lightweight Cardstock
• Glue
• Scissors
• Glitter Glue and Sticker Gems for embellishment
Note: cutting intended for grown-ups only
1. Form a cone out of a sheet of construction paper and close it by tape. Fit it over the top of the soda bottle
and trim.
2. Cut strips of colored construction paper approximately 14 inches long by 3 inches wide and glue around
the bottle, slightly overlapping the colors.
3. Cut one strip of paper 14 inches by 1 ½ inches, tape around the bottom of the rocket. Cut a fringe of
about ½ inches all around the rocket and gently flare out.
4. Cut out the rocket fin shape using the template included. Trace on red construction paper and glue to
three fins. Tape fins to rocket.
Embellish with glitter and stickers and let the adventures begin!
