Positioning the track
Measure and mark 2068mm from the floor level
upwards.
Line up the top edge of the batten to the marked
level, ensuring that the previously marked central
fixing point is vertically in line with the inside edge
of the jamb on the opening side. Use a spirit level to
check it is level.
Preparing the batten
Place the metal track on top of the batten, ensuring
they line up on either end as shown in the diagram.
Mark all fixing locations from the track onto the
batten and pilot drill using a 2mm wood drill bit.
Positioning the track and batten
Measure and mark 2104mm from the floor level to
above the top architrave.
Line up the top edge of the batten to the marked
level, ensuring that the previously marked central
fixing point is vertically in line with the inside edge
of the jamb on the opening side. Use a spirit level to
check it is level.
Fixing the batten
Depending on the construction of the wall that you
are fixing to, use appropriate fixings to firmly secure
the batten to the wall, at the pre-set location. Fix at
3 points (in between the pre-marked locations), at
both ends and roughly central points. Use a spirit
level to ensure it is fixed level.
Fixing the track
Place the track up to the fixed batten and line up
