CAPS HS students are committing their time, effort, and fitness to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. The Lincoln Marathon is a proud sponsor for Project Purple and the students will participate in the marathon. The students have a fundraising goal of $5000. All CAPS Corey Mohn, Executive Director of Blue Valley CAPS and The CAPS Network, came to visit Westside CAPS on April 4, 2017. Corey spent some time touring STEM 1&2 at Westside High School. CAPS ET/BS students provided a tour of the Oakdale Coffee Shop Space on the West Campus. He also spent time collaborating and meeting with our CAPS students and staff. CAPS had the privilege of welcoming Adam Yale, WCS Board of Education, and Terry Hanna, Westside Foundation to the CAPS Garage to meet Corey and learn more about all things CAPS Corey Mohn Gallery CAPS/ACE Mentor Partnership CAPS/ACE students received hands-on REVIT training under the leadership of Molly Macklin of Schemmer and Audrey Buckley of Alley Poyner. The training took place on site at Schemmer, allowing the students to work on their design project in a professional setting. Molly and Audrey will facilitate another on site training session later this week. This experience not only provided a stronger knowledge base in REVIT for the students, but also first-hand knowledge of the professional working environment.
