Universities and IB diploma recognition GRADE 10 What do I need to remember about IB courses and universities? http://www.swissuniversities.ch/en/ The following subjects are recognised: The following subjects are NOT recognised: ● All languages ● Math studies SL ● Economics ● Design Technology ● Business and management ● Theatre ● Geography ● Music ● History ● Psychology ● Biology ● Film ● Chemistry ● IT in a Global Society ● Physics ● Philosophy ● Mathematics HL or SL ETHZ Admission without entrance examination if the following requirements are fulfilled: 1. 38 out of 42 points (without bonus points) 2. a) mathematics, b) one of the following: physics, chemistry or biology and c) 1 language A at Higher Level (HL) 3. 3 additional subjects at Standard Level (SL) of the following: physics, natural sciences, geography, history, economics, 1 language only, geometry, computer science. *Otherwise reduced entrance examinations. *Language proficiency C1 OTHER (public) Admission if the following requirements are fulfilled: 1. 32 out of 42 points (without bonus points) 2. Math or one Science at HL required (physics, chemistry or biology ) 3.
