Madam President’s Message
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
The Aerie is looking for volunteers. More
Aerie volunteers are needed for prime rib night,
hamburger night, steak night and the 2nd
Sunday of the month breakfast. It takes a lot of
work to put on the dinners and breakfast. I
would like to see more new faces for these
events.
September begins the busy season for our
auxiliary starting with the Scholarship
Auction at our Family Picnic. Then starts the
food drive for our families in need. The
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner baskets
and the giving tree will be out before we
know it.
Thanks to all the work on our grounds. We
have a great looking fire pit. Look for the new
horseshoe pit coming soon.
Remember our Family Picnic in September.
Also, don’t forget our Veteran’s Day
celebration on November 11th.
Look forward to seeing you at the hall.

We are starting our food drive for
our special families. We need
toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant,
toothbrushes, diapers all sizes,
formula for babys, soap and all kind
of food PLEASE!!
October 22nd will be a Chicken Enchilda
dinner to benefit the special family fund. We
also will be doing raffles to help raise money
for this fund.
Thank you to the sisters who stepped up this
year to hold offices in the auxiliary. We now
have all the positions full.
Please keep coming out and supporting our
dinners and breakfast. It is your participation
that helps us raise money for our charities.

FAMILY PICNIC
Saturday, September 11th is our annual Family
Picnic at 2:00 PM. The Aerie will be providing
the hamburgers, hot dogs and baked beans. The
rest is potluck. So please bring a salad, desert or
favorite dish.
Also, the Scholarship Auction will be at 2:00 PM.
The auxiliary is asking for donated items or
baskets for the auction. The auxiliary gives out
scholarships to the No Mason Seniors each year.
Last year we gave 3 seniors $ 1200.00 each. If
they go to a college that participates in Dollars for
Scholars, the scholarship is matched. The more
money we can give to the seniors depends on how
much money we make on our annual auction.

REASONS TO COME TO NO MASON EAGLES.
SHAKE A SHIFT: You pay 25 cents to shake the dice to win the
pot. The pot can be as much as $ 500.00. You can only do one
shake a shift for each bartender that day.
THURSDAY MEMBERSHIP DRAWING: You pay $ 1.00 and
sign in the book. This can be done Friday thru Wednesday. There
will be no sign ins on Thursday (Day of the drawing).
All members names are in a drum. Thursday a name is drawn. If
the person has signed in and is present at drawing, that person wins
the pot. If the person signed in but is not present, the person gets
half the pot. If the person has not signed in, that person does not
get any thing. All money not won by any one goes into next weeks
pot.
POKER: Poker is played on Wednesday at 10:00 AM and on
Saturday at noon.
DINNERS: There is a dinner every Friday night and Burgers on
Thursday night. Please see calendar for dinner schedule.
MEETINGS: The 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, the Aerie meet at 7:30
PM. The 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, the Auxiliary meet at 7:30 PM. The
2nd Monday of the month, there is a joint meeting to plan the
calendars and discuss the up coming events and any other matter
that needs attention.
LUNCHES: The auxiliary serves lunch Monday thru Friday, noon
to 2:00 PM. They serve soup and sandwiches. Every day there is a
different soup.
