Daily Closures of the North- and Southbound Interstate 35E U-turn Lanes at
Swisher Road
LAKE DALLAS, Texas — The following closures will be in place daily from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 16:

The north- to southbound I-35E U-turn lane at Swisher Road.

The south- to northbound I-35E U-turn lane at Swisher Road.
Northbound Interstate 35E Exit Ramp to FM 407 Closed Nightly
LAKE DALLAS, Texas — The northbound I-35E exit ramp to FM 407 will be closed nightly from
9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29 through Thursday, Sept. 1.
While the ramp is closed, traffic will take the northbound I-35E exit ramp to Valley Ridge
Boulevard and continue north along the frontage road to FM 407.
Nightly Lane Reduction on East- and Westbound State Highway 121 Business
Near Interstate 35E
LEWISVILLE, Texas — East- and westbound SH 121 Business approaching I-35E will be
reduced to one lane in each direction nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29 through
Sunday, Sept. 18.
UPDATE: Overnight Closures of the Northbound Interstate 35E Exit Ramp to
Valley Ridge Boulevard
LEWISVILLE, Texas — The following closures will be in place nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 7 through Sunday, Sept. 11:

Northbound I-35E exit ramp to Valley Ridge Boulevard. While the ramp is closed,
traffic will take the northbound I-35E exit ramp to FM 1171/Main Street and continue
along the frontage road to Valley Ridge Boulevard.


UPDATE: Northbound Interstate 35E Traffic Shift in Lewisville
LEWISVILLE, Texas — The following closures will be in place nightly from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug.
26 until 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27:
Mainlanes

Two lanes of northbound I-35E between State Highway 121 Business and FM 1171/Main
Street.
Ramps (Please note, ramps will not be closed simultaneously.)

The northbound I-35E exit ramp to Valley Ridge Boulevard. While the ramp is closed,
traffic will take the northbound I-35E exit to FM 1171/Main Street and continue north
along the frontage road to Valley Ridge Boulevard.

The northbound I-35E exit ramp to FM 1171/Main Street. While the ramp is closed,
traffic will take the northbound I-35E exit to Fox Avenue and continue north along the
frontage road to FM 1171/Main Street.

The northbound I-35E exit ramp to Fox Avenue. While the ramp is closed, traffic will
take the northbound I-35E exit ramp to SH 121 Business and continue north along the
frontage road to Fox Avenue.


closed, traffic will continue north along the frontage road to the northbound I-35E
entrance ramp from Fox Avenue.
UPDATE: Various Nightly Lane Closures of the Northbound Interstate 35E Frontage Road
Near Valley Ridge Boulevard
LEWISVILLE, Texas — Various lanes of the northbound frontage road approaching Valley
Ridge Boulevard will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12 through
Friday, Sept. 16.
A flagging operation will be in place on the connector road from east- and westbound Valley
Ridge Boulevard to northbound I-35E.
The northbound I-35E frontage road will be reduced to one lane for 7 weeks during this work.
Nightly Flagging Operation Near Westbound FM 3040/Round Grove Road
LEWISVILLE, Texas — A flagging operation will be in place on the connector road from
westbound FM 3040/Round Grove to the northbound I-35E frontage road nightly from 9 p.m.
until 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 4.
UPDATE: Overnight Closures of the North- and Southbound Interstate 35E Ramps
Between FM 3040/Round Grove Road and Corporate Drive
LEWISVILLE, Texas — The following ramp closures will be in place nightly from 9 p.m. until 6
a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28 through Thursday, Sept. 1 (Please note, these ramps will not be
closed simultaneously.):

The southbound I-35E exit ramp to Corporate Drive. While the ramp is closed, traffic
will take the southbound I-35E exit ramp to SH 121 Business and continue south along
the frontage road to Corporate Drive.

The southbound I-35E entrance ramp from Corporate Drive. While the ramp is
closed, traffic will continue south along the frontage road to the southbound I-35E
entrance ramp from FM 3040/Round Grove Road.

The northbound I-35E entrance ramp from FM 3040/Round Grove Road. While the
ramp is closed, traffic will continue north along the frontage road to the northbound I-35E
entrance ramp from Corporate Drive.

The southbound I-35E exit ramp to FM 3040/Round Grove Road. While the ramp is
closed, traffic will take the southbound I-35E exit ramp to Corporate Drive and continue
south along the frontage road to FM 3040/Round Grove Road.
UPDATE: Various Lane Closures on the State Highway 121 Frontage Road
Between the Southbound Interstate 35E Frontage Road and Lake Vista Drive
LEWISVILLE, Texas — The following closures will be in place nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 29 through Sunday, Sept. 4:

Various lanes of the SH 121 frontage road between the southbound I-35E frontage road
and Lake Vista Drive.

The right lane of the southbound I-35E frontage road approaching the SH 121 frontage
road.
Overnight Closures of the Ramp from Northeast-bound Sam Rayburn Tollway to
Southbound Interstate 35E
LEWISVILLE, Texas — The ramp from northeast-bound Sam Rayburn Tollway to southbound
I-35E will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29 through Sunday, Sept.
18.
While the ramp is closed, traffic will take the exit ramp to MacArthur Boulevard and travel on the
frontage road to the southbound I-35E frontage road. Traffic will then turn right and continue to
the southbound I-35E entrance ramp from the SH 121 frontage road.

UPDATE: Various Lane Closures on the Northbound Interstate 35E Frontage
Road Near Frankford Road
CARROLLTON, Texas — Various lanes of the northbound I-35E frontage road
approaching Frankford Road will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2
through Wednesday, Sept. 7.
A flagging operation will be in place on Frankford Road east of the northbound I-35E
frontage road.
UPDATE: Closure of the Southbound Interstate 35E Entrance Ramp from
Valwood Parkway
FARMERS BRANCH, TEXAS — The following closures will be in place from 9 p.m. until
6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29 through Friday, Sept. 2:

The southbound I-35E entrance ramp from Valwood Parkway. While the ramp
is closed, traffic will continue south along the frontage road to the southbound I35E entrance ramp from Valley View Lane.

a.m. Monday, Aug. 29 through Thursday, Sept. 1.
UPDATE: Overnight Closures of the Southbound Interstate 35E Entrance
Ramp from Valley View Lane
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas — The following closures will be in place from 9 p.m. until 6
a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 11:

Various lanes of southbound I-35E between the southbound I-35E entrance ramp
from Valley View Lane and I-635 will be closed.

The southbound I-35E entrance ramp from Valley View Lane. While the ramp is
closed, traffic will continue on the southbound frontage road to Valley View Lane
and take the south- to northbound U-turn lane to the northbound frontage road.
Travel north along the frontage road to Valwood Parkway, take the north- to
southbound U-Turn lane to the southbound frontage road and enter I-35E from the
ramp at Valwood Parkway.

The ramp from southbound I-35E to westbound I-635. While the ramp is closed,
traffic will take the southbound I-35E exit ramp to Harry Hines Boulevard and
continue south along Emerald Street to the westbound I-635 frontage road, turn
right and continue west to the entrance ramp from Luna Road.
UPDATE: Overnight Closures of the Ramp from Westbound Interstate 635 to
Southbound Interstate 35E
DALLAS, Texas — The ramp connecting westbound I-635 to southbound I-35E and the
left lane of westbound I-635 between Denton Drive and I-35E will be closed nightly from 9
p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29 through Thursday, Sept. 1.
While the ramp is closed, traffic will continue west on I-635 to the Luna Road exit, take the
U-turn at Luna Road, travel east along the I-635 frontage road, enter the eastbound I-635
entrance ramp from Luna Road. Traffic will then travel east on I-635 to the southbound I35E direct connector ramp.
This work is related to the 35Express project, an expansion of I-35E between U.S.
Highway 380 in Denton County and I-635 in Dallas County. All closures are subject to
weather conditions and may be postponed, if necessary.
