Albertans helping
Albertans
Providing the best in customer care for fellow Albertans is something
we’re passionate about here at EPCOR. We’ve been a part of the
Alberta community for more than 120 years. Serving Albertans
is important for the employees in our Contact Centre and Billing
Department located in downtown Edmonton.
Meet Carlos
Carlos lives in Edmonton and has worked for EPCOR for the past
eight years. As an important part of our Billing Team, he helps to
ensure your EPCOR bill is accurate and produced on time. Carlos
also helps monitor our Equalized Payment Plan (EPP) option to
ensure our customers pay the correct amount each month (see
page 2 for more info on EPP).
How does Carlos feel about providing great customer care?
“I take personal responsibility in my job to ensure our
customers’ accounts and payments are processed accurately
and in a timely manner.”
Carlos is just one of our many Alberta-based Customer Care
representatives dedicated to serving EPCOR customers.
Give us a call, we’re here to help.

general eFFiCienCy
with a few simple tips from the epcor efficiency guides.
• The ideal temperature for maximum efficiency and food safety is 3°C (38°F)
for the refrigerator and -18°C (0°F) for the freezer temperature.
• If you have a self-clean cycle on your electric range, use it immediately after
cooking while the oven is still hot.
• Use glass-baking dishes for more efficient heat transfer.
• When doing laundry, sort clothes by thickness. Dry thin, quick drying items in
one load and thicker, long drying items in another.

Budgeting is easy
with the equalized
Payment Plan
Want to know exactly what your utility bill will be
each month? Then EPCOR’s Equalized Payment Plan
(EPP) is what you’re looking for.
EPP averages your annual utility costs over a
12-month period and you are sent a bill for a set
amount each month. This makes budgeting easy
because you know ahead of time that you will pay
the same amount for your EPCOR bill each month.
If there’s a significant change in the amount of
electricity you use or a significant change in future
pricing (an increase or a decrease), Billing Team
employees like Carlos will recalculate your EPP
payment. Then they will follow up with a call or a
letter with your new EPP amount.
