JAUARY 15-16, 2016, LDCCW WITER
SYMPOSIUM AT OUR LADY OF GOOD COUSEL
RETREAT HOUSE, WAVERLY - The 6th annual
LDCCW Winter Symposium for all ladies is at the
Retreat House in Waverly, Jan. 15-16. The theme is
"Seeking God through works of mercy." Come one
or both days. After Friday evening's living rosary,
sing-a-long and speakers, there will be a wine &
cheese social while decorating Valentine goody bags
for residents of St. Gianna's. Saturday speakers
include Greg Schleppenbach & Fr. Steve Thomlison
followed by a panel consisting of religious sisters
from the Lincoln Diocese; Mass with The Most
Reverend Bishop James D. Conley is at 11:15 a.m.
The afternoon session begins with Russell Koos,
Executive Director of Camp Kateri, followed by a
panel of Mothers of Religious Sisters featuring how
they learned of their daughter’s vocation in
following God’s call to the convent, plus a Q & A

FEBRUARY & MARCH, 2016, CURSILLO
Weekends are scheduled at St. Mary Parish in
Sutton, NE, February 25-28, 2016 (Men) and
March 31-April 3, 2016 (Women). Cursillo is a
recognized movement of the Catholic Church,
having received canonical recognition by the
Holy See. In addition to presentations given by
priests and laypersons, the Weekend also
includes prayer, scriptural-based meditations,
the Sacraments (daily Mass and opportunity for
Confession), and time for reflection, personal
prayer, and opportunity for discussion
throughout the Weekend. If you would like
