Thursday – Saturday 12 –14 March 2015 Visit IDS 2015
IDS in Cologne is the world’s leading trade show with more than 125,000 visitors from 149 countries. Filling 5 halls,
the 150,000m2 of exhibition covers an area roughly the size of 30 football fields. As the biggest event of its kind, it
has an atmosphere all of its own and the concentration of innovation is both breath-taking and exciting. You will
have three days to discover what’s new in your business, speak with experts and rub shoulders with thousands of
like-minded people. Around the exhibition you will also experience the city of Cologne which has the reputation
as one of the friendliest cities in Germany. You will have lots of opportunity to soak up the local culture when you
visit the Altstadt (Old City), sample the local fare at one of the iconic Brauerei’s and attend the Ivoclar Vivadent
International IDS party.

Sunday 15 March 2015 Cologne to Strasbourg, France by coach. Sightseeing
Spend the day sightseeing in the idyllic city of Strasbourg. Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region of
France and is most widely known for hosting a number of important European institutions. It is also famous for
its beautiful historical centre - the Grande Île - which was the first city centre to be classified entirely as a World
Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Visit Wieland Head Office
With the acquisition of Wieland Dental, Ivoclar Vivadent strengthened its position in the field of all-ceramics.
Extending its offering with All Ceramics – All Options. In your visit to Wieland you will learn about the development
of CAD-CAM and digital technology in the “Gateway to the Black Forest”. Pforzheim is a centre for both jewellery
and watch-making industries. It is a beautiful city, with lots of architecture from the early 1900’s.
Pforzheim to Vaduz, Liechtenstein by coach
Liechtenstein is a small, alpine German-speaking country doubly landlocked by Switzerland and Austria. It is the
last remnant of the Holy Roman Empire and is an independent nation with very close ties to Switzerland. It enjoys a
very high standard of living and is home to some incredibly beautiful mountain scenery as well as being a centre of
commerce and international banking. After settling at your hotel we will have dinner at one of the local restaurants.

hear the vision which Ivoclar Vivadent has for the future of dentistry at the International Centre for Dental Education
(ICDE), which is among the most modern training centres worldwide. Finish your day with a relaxing meal.

Wednesday 18 March 2015 Vaduz to Salzburg, Austria by coach. Sightseeing
Salzburg is the fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital of the federal state of Salzburg. Its “Old Town”, with
its world famous baroque architecture, is one of the best-preserved city centres in the German-speaking world
and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The setting for The Sound of Music, it’s difficult not to
spontaneously burst into song when you’re walking along the Salzach River, or climbing up to the Hohensalzburg
fortress which looms over the city. You will have time to take in the sights and relax in this historic and delightful city.

handpieces worldwide. A visit to the factory and the accompanying explanation will introduce the world class vision,
values and expectations which are the foundation of this very important partner to the dental profession.

Friday 20 March 2015 Sightseeing and day at leisure in Munich
Munich, located at the river Isar in the south of Bavaria, is famous for its beautiful architecture, fine culture, and the
annual Oktoberfest beer celebration. Munich’s cultural scene is second to none in Germany, with the museums even
considered by some to outrank Berlin in quality. Many travellers to Munich are absolutely stunned by the quality of
the architecture. You will have time to explore and perhaps indulge some retail therapy prior to your return home.
