Money Jars Exaggeration Competition: Birthday Scrapbook Road

Money Jars
Decorate four jars with glue
and scrap pieces of tissue
and wrapping paper. Label
each jar separately:
“Saving.” “Spending.” “Giving.”
“Emergency.” Start sorting
your money into the jars,
and have fun saving
and spending!
Exaggeration
Competition:
Good-Better-Best
Start praising or complaining
about something. The next
person tries to out-do the first.
The winner is the funniest, silliest
or cleverest! You vote to decide
the winner. Example:
“I’m tired.” “I’m exhausted.”
“I’m actually sleeping!”
Birthday
Scrapbook
After a birthday, collect the
wrapping paper from your
presents and turn it into a
scrapbook. Now you have
a journal for you and your
family to keep a record of
the fun you have all year!
Road Trip
Word Scramble
When out in your community,
in a car, on the bus, or just
walking around town, keep
your eye out for letters on
license plates. Call out as
many things as you can see
that start with each letter.
Work as a team to create
the biggest list you can!
