With TPCR, organizations receiving funding from multiple ministries will no longer be required to submit their profile information more than once. TPCR connects organizations to other government funding systems like Grants Ontario. The Grants Ontario system enables you to apply for grants and view the status of your applications. Together, the Grants Ontario system and TPCR offer an easy and secure way for Ontarians to apply for and receive funding from the government. This is part of the Government of Ontario’s commitment to modernize transfer payment administration. Purpose of this Manual This User Manual provides step-by-step instructions on how to: 1. All other accounts for the same organization will only be an Associated User The Administrator o Is an individual who has the ability to: Manage (own) transfer payment account, including organization and user profiles under the TP Account Manage profiles of other users, associated with the organization’s registration Review and approve/deny requests for access to the organization’s registration Create new registrations View and Manage organization’s registration details An Associate User o Is an individual with at least one approved access to an organization’s profile, and can: Manage (own) transfer payment account, including own user profiles under the TP account View organization’s registration details (read-only) How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 4 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization ACCESSING TRANSFER PAYMENT COMMON REGISTRATION (TPCR) STEP 1 – Creating a ONe-key Account Note: IF you already have a ONe-key account, log into the Grants Ontario site and proceed directly to STEP 2 – Creating a Transfer Payment Account. Overview Before you register in TPCR, your organization MUST have a ONe-key account. Creating a ONe-key account is a one-time process. What is ONe-key? A ONe-key account is a single point of access to multiple services in the Ontario Government. Creating a ONe-key account allows you to create a Transfer Payment Account and access Transfer Payment Common Registration, Grants Ontario, and other services. Creating your ONe-key Account 1.1. Open your Internet browser. ONe-key does not work with all browsers. The following browsers are best: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x or higher Mozilla Firefox 19 or higher Google Chrome 27 or higher Go to: http://www.grants.gov.on.ca 1.2. 1.3. 1.4. The language page appears; select the language you wish to continue in. The Grants Ontario homepage appears. Select ‘Log In’. The ONe-key Login page appears. How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 6 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization 2. Click Sign up now. The ONe-key Account Registration page appears. Note: Fields with a * beside them are mandatory and must be filled out in order to proceed to the next step. 3. In the Create your ID and Password section: 3.1. Create a ONe-key ID. Guidelines for your ID: The ID is limited to a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 100 characters. You must include a letter (a – z). Your ID is not case sensitive. Training1 is the same as TRAINING1 You can include numbers. You can include an underscore (_). 3.2. Enter a password. Guidelines for your password: The password is limited to a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 16 characters. Your password cannot be the same as your ONe-key ID. Passwords are case sensitive. Training1@ is not the same as TRAINING1@ It must include at least one UPPER CASE letter. (A-Z) It must include at least one lower case letter. (a-z) It must contain at least one number. It must contain at least one symbol such as ! @ # Must not contain spaces How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 7 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization 4. Read the Terms and Conditions of Use and Notice of Collections: 4.1. Click the checkbox beside “I accept the Terms and Conditions of Use and…” 5. Scroll down to the Password Recovery Info section 5.1. Click the security question down arrow. A list of questions appears. 5.2. Select one of the questions. 5.3. Type the answer to the question. 5.4. Repeat steps 6.1 to 6.3 for two additional questions. 6. Scroll down to the Optional ID Recovery Info section. Type your email address in the space provided. Completing the information in this section will be helpful if you forget your ONe-key login ID. 7. Click ‘Sign up’. The Confirmation page appears (below). Now you are ready to enroll for Transfer Payment Account/Grants Ontario! IMPORTANT: If you close this window, you may access TPCR by going to the ONe-key site and signing-in using the account you created OR, going directly to the Grants Ontario site and logging in. How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 9 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization STEP 2 – Creating a Transfer Payment Account Once you have a ONe-key ID and password, you may create a Transfer Payment Account by requesting for an enrolment ID and PIN. 1. From the Available Services list on the left panel, select All Services from A to Z 2. Click Transfer Payment Account/ Grants Ontario link on the screen below: 3. Select Request Enrolment Number from the screen below: Note: DO NOT CLOSE THIS BROWSER. TWO separate emails will be sent to the e-mail address you provided during the enrolment process. The Transfer Payment Common Registration system enrolment page appears, fill it out and click ‘Submit’. 5. Click ‘Enrol’ on the next screen. How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 11 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization Recieving Enrolment ID and PIN: Check your email box. Below is an example of the email you will receive with your Enrolment ID: (both English and French are included in the same email.) BOTH the enrolment ID and PIN are required to enrol for Transfer Payment Account/Grants Ontario. EMAIL #1 EMAIL #2 How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 12 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization The Enrolment for Transfer Payment Account page appears. 6. From the email you received, type in the Enrolment Number, and click ‘Submit’ in the next screen. 7. In the next screen type in the PIN (see previous page) and click ‘Submit’. Read the Terms and Conditions to access Transfer Payment Account/ Grants Ontario page and click ‘I agree’. Notice that a Transfer Payment Account/Grants Ontario link has been added to your My Services list. This is your link to accessing the Transfer Payment Common Registration (TPCR) system. 9. Click the Transfer Payment Account/Grants Ontario link to proceed to register your organization in the TPCR system. How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 14 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization REQUESTING ACCESS TO REGISTRATION Click Request Access to Registration Registration Search 1. When creating a new registration, you will be required to perform a search to ensure your organization has not already been registered. 2. You can search by either the Organization Legal or Operating Name or by CRA BN. a. Type the Organization Legal or Operating Name OR If you know your organization’s CRA BN, select ‘I know my CRA BN’ and entre your CRA BN 3. Click ‘Search’. After reviewing the search result, check the radio button beside your organization name and click ‘Request Access to Registration’ How to Request Access to Registration Version 3.0 March 2017 16 Transfer Payment Administrative Modernization Request for Access 1. Confirm this is your organization by reviewing the Organization Details. 2. To request access to this registration, fill in all fields and click ‘Confirm’. If this is not your organization, click the ‘Back’ button to return to the Registration Search page. Conduct another search using different criteria. If your organization is not yet registered in TPCR system then it will not appear in the search results. (To create a new registration, please refer to the Create New Registration User Guide). Review the Requestor Contact Information section and click ‘Done’ A notification will be sent to your TP account administrator(s) for approval.
