I had so much fun that I can still remember it clearly. Some of you might ask why it was the best day of my life. It was the best day because I got to spend time with my family and play in the fresh, cool water. My favorite was the water slide. My dad and I went up to the top with a huge, yellow tube, and then we sat on the yellow tube where water fell. We slid down for a while. We went down curves, sliding sideways, and so on. Suddenly, we fell off the end of the tunnel. Splash! It happened so suddenly that I drank some of the pool water. It was the best day ever. I wanted the time to stop, but time always goes on. Next year, I want to go there again. I want to spend more time there. Grade 3 Narrative – Personal Narrative Scars Do you have scars? Maybe you got your scars while playing with your friends on the playground or when you fell over while you were running during PE class? Last month, during my PE class, I fell and scratched my knees. Our PE teacher told us to run around the school five times because we were slacking off during class. So, the whole class ran around the grass field, past the classrooms, past the hall, around the library, and around the playground. When we were passing the playground, I thought that if I went through the playground instead of around it, I could finish faster than the other kids. I decided to take a short cut! I ran fast. Then, all of a sudden, I tripped over the slide and landed flat on the ground. It was the most embarrassing moment of my life! At first, I couldn’t breathe, and then I fainted. When I woke up, the principal was running with me on his back. I saw blood dripping down my knees. They put me down on the bed, and the nurse treated my knees with disinfectant and put two big band aids on my knees. Now, I have two big scars on both of my knees. They will always remind me to be more careful from now on.
