WHAT YOU`LL GET - Mobile Symphony Orchestra

Dear Violinists, Violists, Cellists, Bassists and
Pianists,
The Mobile Symphony is happy to once again
be hosting ChamberFest, a 4-day chamber
music workshop for string players and pianists
of all ages in the Mobile Bay area. This
workshop will teach skills that improve a
musician’s solo and large ensemble playing.
Each player is both soloist and team member at
the same time. Playing chamber music
sharpens vital listening skills and provides
invaluable musicianship training. In fact,
musicians who play in chamber ensembles
typically improve faster than those who don’t.
ChamberFest is meant to be a jumping off point
for musicians to form a group that may
continue playing together long after the
workshop is over.
We will do our best to place each musician who
applies, but may be limited by the number of
applicants and the instruments they play. If
you have any questions, please don’t hesitate
to contact me
Sincerely,
Dr. Guo-Sheng Huang
Director, MSO ChamberFest
