HÅG Capisco ® in Canada
About HÅG
ergoCentric Seating Systems has entered a distribution agreement with Norwegian-based Scandinavian Business
Seating (SBS), parent company of the HÅG, RH and RBM seating manufacturers. ergoCentric is the sole-distributor
of HÅG and RBM product in Canada. The initial product offering is the HÅG Capisco®, HÅG Capisco Puls®,
HÅG Capisco Stool and HÅG Conventio Wing® chairs.
Why we chose to partner with HÅG

Founded in 1947, HÅG was the first ergonomic seating company in the world
and espouses many of the same principles as ergoCentric.

Adding these chairs to our product offering enhances our strategic focuses
on sit-stand solutions and the healthcare segment (HÅG Capsico is often
called the sonographer’s chair).

The unique design of the HÅG Capisco and the success of the Capisco around
the world makes it one of the few chairs people know by brand-name.












Launched in 1986 – 1.2 million sold to date.
Designed by Peter Opsvik.
Unlimited possibilities for variation of seated posture.
Perfect companion for height adjustable tables.
The saddle seat is at the heart of the design. It puts your hips
higher than your knees and the user’s back is as if standing,
allowing for blood flow, which is key.
Unique shape of the backrest provides support in numerous
sitting positions, as well as acting as arm rests.
Appeals to health conscious people.
Often referred to as the sonographer’s chair.
Options include a foot ring and step-up.
Currently available in black Grade 1 upholstery or grey Grade 1 vinyl.
Colours from the CornerBlock fabric card will be made
available In the future.
HÅG CAPISCO Puls








Born out of the legendary HÅG Capisco, the Puls
is a value based alternative to the original.
Contemporary and flexible chair made from polypropylene.
Light and agile, made for contemporary and flexible work spaces.
The seat has an integrated cushion for improved comfort.
The saddle seat can be adjusted between low and high working
positions, all the way up to standing, enabling you to be more
dynamic in your movements while still balanced.
Options include the HÅG Foot Ring and HÅG Step-Up.
Currently available in black or grey.

List and MAP pricing
Resellers must agree to MAP pricing. No reseller should advertise HÅG products at a price lower than the MAP
listed above. MAP only applies to advertised pricing and does not apply to the price at which products are
actually sold or offered for sale to an individual customer within the dealer’s retail location or over the
telephone. Dealers will be asked to sign a Minimum Advertised Pricing Agreement.
Samples

Dealer Samples are available at a 50/50 discount and are limited to
3 per each HÅG chair (in total, not renewed annually).
Warranty
10 year guarantee:
ergoCentric provides a ten-year guarantee against production defects
on all HÅG products that are in normal use for up to 9 hours per day.
Serial Numbers
ergoCentric serial numbers will be applied to HÅG chairs, making it
fast and easy to track all chair specifications and customer information.
