Kit has been delivered to facility; awaiting confirmation date for cover to be erected. Jenni discussed activities held recently: Golden Years; Mystery Drive; Lunch @ Gargett Hotel; Morning Melodies. Jenni discussed upcoming activities: Men’s Club this Friday with invited guests from the community; Canelands Shopping; Golden Years; St Patrick’s Day; Mystery Drive; Morning Tea @ Marian Town Centre; Homefield Cent Sale; Rob Roles to entertain. Refurbishment works are progressing well. E Block is almost complete. F Block refurb won’t commence until the last week in March. New menu to commence next week. Names of employees will be in larger print on badges so that they are more visible. Sharee will no longer take on this role as FSQ are able to provide this service. Administration Fire Safety Advisor Comment from resident that staff should have magnetic name badges for identification purposes The facility requires a Fire Safety Advisor. Tanya to announce to residents when monthly fire panel testing will be done. Residents reminded that their feedback, compliments & complaints can be given verbally to staff to record. Comments can remain confidential. Alternative option is to complete a Compliments, Complaints and Suggestion form located outside the Nurses’ Station NANYIMA AGED CARE New Business Item Standard Details of Discussion Action Responsible Officer Timeframe Power Outages 4.4 4.5 Open 2.16 Whilst it’s not feasible to have a back-up power supply, Nanyima is on Ergon Energy’s priority list for power restoration. Quotes are currently being obtained for headlights for staff to wear during black-outs. Place notice in Valley Views advising family members that talking watches can be purchased from the Blind Association. S Corby Talking Watches The facility has experienced a number of power outages lately and this has caused some problems. Residents were shown a talking watch and were asked if they were interested in getting one.
