Lynn Community Development, in conjunction with the Community Development
Citizens Advisory Board, will entertain proposals for Youth Activities for FY'17. All
proposals shall be consistent with the format outlined in the specifications, which
are available at Lynn Community Development, City Hall, Room 305. Proposals are
available on January 3, 2017, and will be accepted until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
January 24, 2017. Proposals can also be found on our website
www.cityoflynnoecd.net/programs starting January 3 at 8:30 am or emailed when
a request is sent to [email protected]. No proposal will be accepted after the
deadline date of January 24, 2017, and each organization must have a
representative at the Allocation of Funds Meeting when these proposals are
reviewed. The Allocation of Funds Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 7,
2017 at the Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND), 10
Church Street, Lynn, MA at 6:00 p.m. Parking is available in the LHAND parking lot
as well as on-street. The LHAND is handicapped accessible and any individual
needing a special accommodation for their handicapped condition must contact
Community Development at (781) 581-6763 at least two weeks prior to the
Allocation of Funds Meeting. Solicitations will be entertained under the Housing
and Community Development Act of 1992 and regulations thereunder. Lynn
Community Development reserves the right to reject any and all applications, or
waive any part hereof, and make awards as may appear in the best interest of the
youth in the City of Lynn as determined in the application process.
