"In general, an ePortfolio is a purposeful collection of information and digital
artifacts that demonstrates development or evidences learning outcomes, skills or
competencies. The process of producing an ePortfolio (writing, typing, recording etc.)
usually requires the synthesis of ideas, reflection on achievements, self-awareness
and forward planning; with the potential for educational, developmental or other
benefits” (http://www.eportfolios.ac.uk/definition).
This year you will assemble an ePortfolio exemplifying your BEST work from the year
in Language Arts & World Geography. Your portfolio will introduce yourself as a
scholar, showcase examples of your work, and include written reflections and goals
for your future. Your ePortfolio may be created using Weebly or Google Sites and will
include the following 6 categories: About Me, Reading, Writing, Projects, World
Geography, and Goals (see below for details for each category).

Be sure to post at least one assignment with
a written reflection (3-5 sentences) to each
of the 4 pages: Reading, Writing, Projects,
and World Geography.
Then, write 2 skills learned and 2 goals for
next quarter on the "Goals" page.
When finished, write "YES" on the Sign-up
sheet (see example below) in the correct
QUARTER’s column. It's your time to shine!
Be proud of your work this quarter!
For each piece of work you post to your ePortfolio, write
a 3-5 sentence “Reflection” analyzing how you performed
and explaining what you learned from that piece. Feel
free to use these helpful sentence starters:
