Treasurer Report
We are extremely tight on money right now until registration.
We are still waiting on quite a few tournament fees. Janelle will send out another reminder. Next year
will be much easier with requiring tournament fees up front.
We will still accept credit cards for the beginning or total payment. Only check or ACH will be
accepted for future payments. We should send out a message to our membership to encourage ACH
or check use.
Tournament Report
Final numbers for the spring tourney were very good, all record attendance. We received about
$15,000 in revenue from the tournament.
DOC Report
Golf outing will be September 24.
DOC report is attached.
It was a very successful spring season and 10-11 teams will place in league play.
The U17 Boys Premier team reached the semi-finals in State cup.
Tryout numbers were up from previous years with 260 players.
Cap Development Report
Cap Development Report is attached.
The raffle this year will again be for at wide screen TV.
Jay would like to offer a national discount card as another fund raiser in the spring.
Jay paid for the stickers from Soccer Country and will give them out at registration.
Sue suggested that we are clear on the participation expectations for the raffle and fund raisers.
Registration will be from 6-8pm on both July 1st and 8th. Everyone should try to arrive by 5:30pm.
We will rearrange the tables to get better participation at each table.
Next meeting Monday August 23rd at 7pm.

CIYSL SPRING SEASON
This is one ofthe most successful spring seasons in some time for LISC. In looking at the results on the
games that have been played on our google docs and CIYSL, it looks as if 10-11 teams will have placed
in their division. Please note that U9's and U10's don't post standings so l'm basing this off of what is
shown on our google docs. These teams I feel have the chance to place: U9 Parente, U9 Foreman, U10
boys Barcelona, U11 boys, U12 boys premier, U14 boys classic, U14 boys premier, U15 boys premier,
U16 boys premier, U17 boys premier, and U12 girls. Remember, that we base development in soccer on
technical/tactical improvement of each team and not just wins/ losses but I wanted to share the above
with the membership as well.
STATE CUP AND TOURNEY SUCCESS
Our U17 Boys Premier coached by Randy Blackman/Mike Kobylinski made it to the Final Four of the
IYSA State Cup. This has only occurred a few times at LISC so we are very proud of these boys. We also
had quite a few teams place in spring tournaments which will be mentioned in our summer LISC
newsletter. We had teams in LISC beat State Cup Finalists/Semi-Finalists from various states as well as
draw with State Cup Champions, so it's encouraging to see LISC in the regional scene.
ODP
Based off of what l could gather from parents/coaches the following individuals have been selected to
ODP: Maddy Chalifoux (U14 girls), Saul Downie (U14 boys premier), George Voulgaris (U15 boys
premier), Patrick Wong (U15 boys premier as a composite player for ODP), Dagay Olsen (U16 girls
premier), and Ian Park (U17 boys premier). Please note this is an incomplete list.
NUMBERS AT TRYOUTS/TEAMS
Numbers for LISC are up from previous years as we have over 260 players who have tried out or have
submitted their tryout information to the LISC office. Based off tentative numbers and conservations with
the coaching staff I believe we might field the following teams: U8 boys/girls developmental academy
(enough for two "teams" if we split into teams; they will train as pool of players), 2 U9 boys teams, 2 U10
boys teams, 2 U11 boys teams, U12 boys premier, U12/13 boys classic, U13 boys premier, U14 boys
premier, U10 girls, U11/12 girls, U13/14 girls, U15/16 girls, U16 girls premier, and U17/18 girls premier.
Given if all players accept their placement and the teams mentioned above come to fruition, with the
addition of the HS boys in November and our U23 team we will have around 23-24 teams total. We have
players coming to LISC from Charleston, Decatur, Bloomington-Normal, and Danville.
NUMBERS FOR LISC SUMMER CAMP
We are still accepting registrations for LISC camp and at the moment we are at 75 campers! This is up by
25 kids from the yr. before already. I will be trying to secure LISC coaches to help the featured clinicians
within the next week as camp will start next Monday.
LISC WEBSITES/UPDATES
 We will be transitioning over to our new website shortly. I recently had a tutorial on how to update
things on the LISC website. I'm sure our membership will like this just as much as I do as the new
website looks sharp and is easy to navigate.
 We were also able to secure an LISC registrar to help Mimi and an LISC scholarship chairman to
help ensure that our scholarship players/families are being sorted out and communicating with
our treasurer.
 Lastly, we have begun an LISC clinic with the Savoy Recreation Center. This means we will have
partnerships with the Champaign Park District as well as the Savoy Recreation Center. We have
reached out to the Urbana Park District, Villa Grove, and Paxton as well to better promote soccer
in the area.
