WELCOME
“Welcome to BBC Cardiff Singer of the World
2015, the world’s greatest singing competition.
From 14-21 June 2015, Cardiff will once again be alive with the
sound of song as 20 of the finest young voices from around the
world compete for the title of BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, and
the chance to lift the Cardiff Trophy.
Our team is already scouring the globe for the best vocal talent,
and with three prizes at stake the competition is already hotting up.
The unique opportunity to sing to audiences in our two wonderful
venues, St David’s Hall and the Royal Welsh College of Music &
Drama, as well as thousands more via the BBC’s networks, makes
this competition a once in a lifetime opportunity for our singers.
The support from our audiences is always incredible and we look
forward to welcoming you once again for drama, excitement, and
arguments in the bar about the judges decisions! Don’t miss this
chance to secure your tickets by booking now!
The Cardiff Singer team look forward to welcoming you to
Cardiff in June.”
David Jackson, Artistic Director, BBC Cardiff Singer of the World
