Welcome to Newsreel Easy. I’m Layla May, your presenter from
London. In today’s programme:

First up, Disney is to show its first gay character

Disney’s new Beauty and the Beast will show Disney’s first gay
character and love scene.
The chracter Lefou, will try to understand his feelings for Gaston,
the main character of the film. Disney are calling it their first ever
“exclusively gay moment” on film.

And now onto young and living in London
London is a busy city with people from many different countries.
In fact, around 100 000 Swedes live here. But what’s it really like
to live in the city when you have a full-time job or when you are a
student? I spoke to two young people who gave me an insight.
Anais: Hi there I'm Anais, I'm 21 and I'm a student
Henry: Hi I'm Henry and I'm 22 years old

Layla: What is the best part about living in London?
Anais:I would say the best part about living in London, is it's filled
with a lot of different nationalities and cultures and I think it's also a
very sociable city

Anais said that her advice for someone who wanted to move to the
city for the first time, was to live in a busy part of London.
Anais: I think if you are moving to London to study for the first time
you want to make sure you are in a busy part of London so you can

Henry loves living in London. He explains why.
Henry: Well there's plenty of things to do after work, I really enjoy
going to the theatre, meeting up with friends and going to bars
Henry said that his advice for someone who wanted to move to

students in America will organise events at their schools. The best
