Unraveling the Tapestry of Your DNA: What Are Your Origins? In collaboration with West Chester University Tuesday, October 27, 2015 11:10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Q Time) • STEM 1403 5 to 5:50 p.m. • STEM 1403 Discover how DNA testing and family narratives can open far-reaching, provocative and compelling explorations of race and culture. Dr. Anita K. Foeman, who developed the DNA Discussion Project at West Chester University, will lead the discussion as panelists share their expertise and experience with the project from scientific, historical and social perspectives. The lecture will illuminate how race and culture guide our communicative behaviors with others and influence the very core of our identities. The Boeing STEM Speaker Series features lectures on a range of topics covering the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
