ABOUT
British singer/songwriter Neon Hitch crafts edgy dance & urban pop with an arty
flair that hints at her Bohemian upbringing. With her soulful voice, candid
storytelling, and colorful charm, Neon is one of the most dynamic and talented
artists in music. Discovered by producer Benny Blanco (Justin Bieber, Rihanna,
Maroon 5), she has worked with the industry's biggest names including Bruno Mars,
Sia, Busta Rhymes, Ryan Tedder (Adele, Beyonce), Greg Kurstin (Beck, Ellie
Goulding), American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi (Britney Spears, Jason Derulo), and
Mike Skinner (The Streets). Her catalogue boasts songs such as the pop smash "Ass Back Home" (with Gym
Class Heroes), and Billboard Dance Club #1's "F*ck U Betta", and "Gold." Neon's
also written and featured on Cash Cash's recent dance hit "Devil" (featuring Busta
Rhymes and B.O.B.), and features and collaborates with DJ/Producer Borgeous on
two tracks for his new album "13", including the single "Lost & Found."
Neon just independently released her long anticipated debut album
"Anarchy" (which entered the iTunes pop charts at #32) to rave reviews. The album
is a journey told as only she can tell, with emotional nuance, catchy melodies, and a
new and innovative sound.
Born in Kingston Upon Thames, England, Neon is a devout lover of fried chicken
and Coca Cola and she currently resides in Los Angeles but says, "Home is where I
lay my headscarf."
