FIRST YEAR FIVE March 30, 2016 - Issue 14 The First Year Five is a newsletter sent every few weeks to first year students. It is filled with five tips to help new students connect, learn, and succeed at UW-Platteville. FALL 2016 CLASS REGISTRATION It's that time of the semester to start thinking about registering for spring semester classes. Registration for classes begins April 4th and the amount of credits you have will determine when you can register. Steps to registering for classes: Refer to your PASS account for your specific registration appointment. (Go to Main Menu > Self Service > Student Center > Listed under the "Enrollment Dates" tab on the right hand side) You may also figure out when you are registering based on the number of credits you have taken. Meet with your advisor to discuss possible classes and to get your PIN - remember this changes every semester. Use Schedule Builder and your academic requirements report to find out what classes are available and what you need to take. Visit the Academic and Career Advising Center website for insight on Advising FAQ. Make sure you take care of any "Holds" listed near the "Enrollment Dates" tab. You can't register until these holds are taken care of. UPCOMING EVENTS & IMPORTANT DATES (For ticketed events, visit the University Box Office.)
