Overview
OptiSwitch Series is an award-winning line of intelligent and compact MEF Certified CE 2.0 service demarcation and
pre-aggregation platforms. Powered by unified Master-OS™ operating software, the OptiSwitch® series ranges from
the OS606 FE/GbE NID to OS900 converged Layer 2 & Layer 3 Ethernet service demarcation to the OS9000 highdensity 10GbE pre-aggregation platforms.
OptiSwitch products are deployed in world’s most prominent Tier-1/2 networks offering communications service
providers a full suite of carrier-grade SLA monitored and H-QoS supported Carrier Ethernet services along highavailability, Hierarchical Quality of Service (H-QoS), security, MEF SOAM , and timing & synchronization services (SyncE
and 1588v2).
The comprehensive feature-set of hardware-based and multi-layer OAM features and tools offers flexible service
awareness and enables rigid SLAs.
MRV’s Pro-Vision®, Service Orchestration and Management system, further enriches the OptiSwitch CE 2.0 solution by
enabling service creation with zero-touch mass deployment with rapid service turn-up.
