x A family of low cost, one-piece top
Plastic Hood - 180º
entry black plastic hoods designed to
accommodate 9, 15, 25, 37 or 50
contact subminiature D connectors.
Hinged in the centre, the two halves
of this hood latch together. This
product is supplied with long
thumbscrews and strain relief with
variable cable adjustment.
x This family provides a high quality,
two-piece black plastic top entry
hood for 9, 15, 25, 37 and 50 way
subminiature D connectors. The two
pieces of this hood latch together,
and are then screwed for positive
locking. The standard part includes
strain relief and long thumbscrews.

Plastic Shielded Hoods with Coding Clips
By coding the hoods, incorrect mating can be avoided when
several similar connectors are being used. The coloured snap in
coding clips, together with the coding frames ensure correct
inter-mating. The metalised coding frame fits between the
connector and the panel.
