M-I SWACO conducted a full vibratory systems analysis test on three BRANDT KING COBRA VENOM shakers. Screen replacement, gasket condition, and mesh wear were evaluated at an equivalent flow rate of 570 galUS/min and deck angles for unbiased results. Conventional Screens 23.5 2,280 1,470 60 Testing proved that the DURAFLO screens (left) handled the full flow rate at the drilling ROP of 131 ft/h and lasted on average 55 hours compared with the conventional screens’ (right) life of 23.5 hours. Additionally, the DURAFLO screens discarded 55% more solids versus the conventional screens over the same time frame, indicating that the screens performed more work before requiring replacement. 2,500 Solids discard rate, lbm/h Background Average time before replacement, h Average solids discard rate, lbm/h Average time before discard, h Shaker type BRANDT™ KING COBRA™ VENOM™ shakers DURAFLO Screens 55 50 40 30 20 10 0 2,000 1,500 1,000 500 0 DURAFLO screens Conventional screens DURAFLO screens Conventional screens Technology DURAFLO composite replacement screen miswaco.com *Mark of M-I L.L.C., a Schlumberger company.
