A NEW OPPORTUNITY
I am writing to ask you to partner with me in a new ministry opportunity with
Church Extension Ministries. I will tell you what that means later but let me
explain.
I had several things
that were on my
mind but one of
them was to help
churches that might
be able to make use
of my experience in
ministry.
Most you know that I have moved on from my role as senior pastor at Grace
Bible Fellowship Church in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. This opened up new
opportunities for me for new ways to serve the Lord. I had several things
that were on my mind but one of them was to help churches that might be
able to make use of my experience in ministry. Almost immediately, I was
given the opportunity to become involved in the ministry of the Royersford
Bible Fellowship Church who were seeking to regroup after their pastor left. I can say with joy that

they were able to call a pastor and now are looking to move
ahead in their ministry. I feel like God let me be part of that
process and feel good about it. Several months ago, I received
another opportunity to be part of the leadership team at Cape
May in our mission church there. I have been working with them
and their pastor to help them develop the ministry that God has
opened up there. I am really enjoying my involvement with them. A new opportunity has been placed in my path by Church
Extension Ministries. My excitement about it comes from the two
experiences I just described. I have been asked to assume a role
in helping to mentor church planters in their pastoring skills and to
help leadership teams become spiritual care givers for the
churches God is raising up in our denomination. I believe God
would have me pursue this opportunity.
I would like you to be part of my support team. What does it
mean to be part of my support team? There are three ways you
can partner with me. First, you can encourage me. You do that by asking me how things are going and being interested.
If you hear something good is happening, tell me about it. Encouragement is welcome no matter
what opportunity you pursue.

path by Church
Extension
Ministries.
Second, you can pray for me. When God
gives an assignment, He says we should
pray understanding that human wisdom
and skills are not the story that explains
what happens. I will welcome supportive
prayer because not much will be
accomplished apart from God’s
intervention.
Third, you can give toward my financial
support need. I will be working on a part
time basis so the salary is not large but it is
real. I am seeking to raise $13,000 with the
intention of working 45 hours a month.
So, there you have it. I would love to have you as part of my team which
you can do simply by doing one of the three things I mentioned or all
three. You will find enclosed a response form. Please fill it out and send it
