Toronto Water
Toronto Water is responsible for providing services to Toronto residents and businesses including water treatment and
supply (also to parts of York Region); wastewater collection and treatment (also to a portion of Peel Region); and
stormwater management. The division maintains and services assets worth approximately $28 billion, some of which
includes four water and four wastewater treatment plants, approximately 6,000 kilometers of watermains, 4,100
kilometers of sanitary sewers, 5,000 kilometers of storm sewers and 1,400 kilometers of combined sewers.
