Paintings by Joe Miller
Mr. Miller, a retired graphic designer, is a long
time resident of Rocky Point. After graduating
from Pratt Institute he spent most of his professional life as an art director and graphic designer
for Doubleday and Publishers Clearing House. In
his retirement Mr. Miller concentrates on painting, mostly in oil and acrylic using a variety of subjects, like portraits, landscapes or street scenes.

The fossils on display are between 450 and 200
million years old. They represent mostly extinct
marine animals from the Paleozoic age. Mr. Walsh
has been collecting and exploring for many
years. He donates many of his finds to colleges or
Natural History Museums.

Mary Jane Stevens will teach beginners and
intermediate aspiring watercolor artists to
paint colorful watercolors. The use of good

The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion
Project (KCSPP), a non-profit organization
dedicated to raising awareness of Korean history and culture in the United States, presents
a unique program that focuses on fifty of the
most amazing Korean treasures from antiquity to modern times. The program will include
2 short documentary films about Korean art
and modern industry. Following the films, there will be a reenactment of a traditional Korean Wedding and a complimentary

Discussion of the New Year! The Golden Ass, a
satirical romance by Apuleius, is an ancient Professor Bill Schiavo
work narrated by Lucius, a licentious young

yet with serious, sometimes outrageous elements. Adjunct

Drumming Circle: A Gathering
