TURNING ON THE DEVICE
The on off switch is located on the
right hand side of the push handle.
No light indicates machine is off.
Light on indicates T.U.T. is on.
PLEASE NOTE THE LIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE
PUSH HANDLE WILL COME ON WHEN THE
DEVICE IS TURNED ON
If light is flashing refer to “Flashing Power
Indicator Light “page within the document.

HEIGHT CONTROL “DOWN”
Press the “DOWN” button to lower
the platform to the desired height.
This is the T.U.T at its lowest height.
PLEASE NOTE THE PLATFORM WILL NOT LIFT
OR LOWER IF THE T.U.T IS TURNED OFF
PLEASE DISCONTINUE TO HOLD BUTTON
DOWN ONCE THE DEVICE HAS REACHED THE
MAXIMUM OR LOWEST HEIGHT POSSIBLE

HEIGHT CONTROL “UP”
Press the “UP” button to raise the
platform to the desired height.
Remove finger once device
has reached max height.
This is the T.U.T at maximum height.

BRAKE OPERATION
The T.U.T has a built in Internal Electromagnetic Brake System which will stop the
device from rolling away when the T.U.T is either inactive or when lifting items off
the device.

DRIVING THE T.U.T.
Roll the speed control triggers forward with
your thumbs, the T.U.T will now move
forward at the desired speed.
By rolling back the speed control triggers the T.U.T
will move backwards in the desired direction,
please remember to walk back with the device.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO WALK WITH THE
T.U.T ONCE YOU HAVE PUSHED THE TRIGGER
FORWARD OR HELD THE TRIGGER BACK.

CHARGING INDICATOR
The new model TUT trolleys now feature a glowing charge level indicator as shown.
The initials indicate the following charge levels:
[F] Full Charge (Green)
[W] Weak Charge (Amber)
[L] Low Charge (Red) - Unit will need to be recharged.

RECHARGING THE T.U.T. (PART 1)
Recharging this device is easy and simple, take the charger, plug it into the wall, and
then simply plug the recharging lead into the charging point shown.
NB: Good habit, when trolley is not being used
connect to charger as this will prolong battery life.
This charging point is located on
the left hand side of the steering
and control column .

RECHARGING THE T.U.T. (PART 2)
Once the power and charging leads have
been plugged in, turn on the charger
using the red power swich (shown left).
PLEASE NOTE THE T.U.T CANNOT BE
OVERCHARGED AS IT HAS A SMART
CHARGING SYSTEM WHICH CUTS OUT
ONCE THE T.U.T IS FULLY CHARGED.
A green light will be displayed
indicating that the unit is charging.

MAINTAINING A SAFE WORK HEIGHT
To maintain a safe working height, please keep
the items being lifted off the device at a height
which enables you to keep your back straight, so
you are not bending over or reaching too high, as
this can and most likely will cause an injury.

FLASHING POWER LIGHT INDICATOR
If the Power Light located on the control panel of the device is flashing and the T.U.T has
stopped working this can mean any of the following 3 things:
(1) The Emergency Stop button has been pressed in due to either accidental pressing
of the button (this is the most common cause) or you have had to press the
Emergency Stop in order to protect yourself from an accident.
(2) The battery has run flat because the battery has not been charged or the battery
has died.
(3) The Red lever located underneath the T.U.T has been pushed; this deactivates the
brake system in the T.U.T and engages the free wheel in case of an emergency.

Customizing your own T.U.T is something that Service Assist come across quite
frequently, we can easily adjust the size of the plate, handle height, customized
end and side frames for where requested, anything that will create and easier
and safer working environment for you and your company.
