LATIN ROOTS.
A corps is a group of people
with special training.
Root:
Art means “art.”
An artisan is a craftsperson skilled in an industry or trade.
An artifact is something, such as a tool, made by human skill.
Artistic means “having to do with art or artists.”
An artist is someone who paints or is skilled in other fine arts.
Pop means “people.” The population is the number of people living in a place.
When a place is populous, it has a lot of people.
If you are popular, you are well liked.
Corp means “body.” A corporation is an organization made up of a group of
people who act as one.
Corporal means “having to do with the body.”
