Adriana Lyons: Adriana was introduced to racing by her Mamaw,
Jan, and she fell in love instantly. Adriana enjoys tending her flower-pot
garden in the summer, reading a good Junie B. Jones book and
watching My Fair Wedding with David Tuterra. Adriana has a great eye
for great fashion, and she just may give Mr. Tuterra a run for his money
when she grows up and becomes a wedding planner
Andrew Smith and mom Susan.

Andrew Smith: Andrew Smith is 25 years old. He lives in
Westerville with his mom. He attends All R Friends in Westerville.
He, also, enjoys working at Otterbein Cafe and volunteers at COSI.
In addition to Special Olympics: track, basketball, swimming, and
soccer. He also, enjoys running with Team Heart and Soul.
Andrew’s passions are railroads, cars, and music. He is a great kid
and always has a smile on his face!!! This is his first season with
Team Heart and Sole.
Brittany Nash

Brittany Nash: Brittany is a graduate of Thomas Worthington HS
and an active at her church where she attends bible study. She spends
her days hanging out with friends. This is Brittany’s third season
racing with Team Heart and Sole.
Bryan Longenbaker with his Dad, Joe

Bryan Longenbaker: Bryan is an active teenager who loves to ride
horses, play baseball, listen to music and go fast!. Bryan has not missed
a race and has participated for four years.
Charlie Chesnes with his mom Beth Anne
•
Charlie Chesnes: Charlie is an elementary student at Delaware
Christian School. He enjoys baseball with Miracle League and
swimming. Charlie races with his own speedy chair and his teammate
Mom has a hard time keeping up. Charlie has been racing since 2012
Dani Lordo with her family
•
Danielle Lordo: Dani loves the outdoors. Her favorite activities are
taking walks, riding her bike, and going to the park. She also likes to
swim or just splash around in a pool. Other favorite activities are
watching You Tube videos, playing games and dancing. Favorite foods
are pizza, spaghetti, Mac & cheese, Gatorade and anything Grandma
makes. Ice cream is hit too.
Dorothy Meadows

Dorothy Meadows: Dorothy is a social and outgoing teenager
who, plays basketball and softball and loves to text and Facebook.
Dorothy also serves on the Team Heart and Sole Board. Dorothy has
competed for all four years with the Team!
Dustin Fingerhut with Mom and Dad, Deb and Bruce

Dustin Fingerhut: Dustin enjoys Contemporary Christian Music,
movies and racing with the Team. He has a positive spirit that adds
energy to our Team. Dustin has been racing with us since 2011.
Isis Lynch
•
Isis Lynch: Isis is an elementary student with a very contagious
smile who loves to listen to music. She enjoys racing in road races but
especially likes biking with her mom in the bike tours. Isis joined the
team in 2013.
Jason Flavin and his mom Holly
•
Jason Flavin: Jason attends Thomas Worthington High School. He
is an active teenager who loves to play video games, watch ESPN,
especially football, baseball and basketball. He is his high school
football and basketball statistician. Jason is very active with MDA and
has been on the team since 2011.
Justin Barr and his Dad, Gary
•
Justin Barr: Justin spends his day at All R Friends and enjoys
youtube and amusement parks. He works out a Life Time and enjoys
swimming and trains for triathlons. He races with his dad Gary and has
been on the team since 2013.
Laura Daily
•
Laura Daily: Laura loves to bowl, attend her book clubs and has a
new job. Laura also likes to attend concerts and hang out with her
friends. She performs music at church with sign language. Laura is a
past board member and she has raced with the team all four years.
Lucas Gage
•
Lucas Gage: Lucas is a fun loving child who attends school at
Alum Creek Elementary School. He has a big brother, Henry, and a little
sister, Greta and his favorite superhero is Superman. Lucas has
completed two half marathons during the 2013 racing season. He has
been on the team since 2012.
Skye Buckingham with sister Cheyenne and parents Julie and Brooke
•
Skye Buckingham is a beautiful teenager girl that speaks through
her eyes and has such a contagious laugh sometimes she just can't even
stop herself. She loves music and her new favorite group is the Beatles.
Skye is races with her big sister and has been on the team since 2011.
Tommy Hielkema with parents Susan and Stephen
•
Tommy Hielkema: Tommy is 20 and loves all things Disney! He is
nonverbal, but uses some sign language and has excellent receptive
language. He attends Gahanna-Lincoln High School. His favorite color is
blue, but if you are wearing orange, he will tell you that you are a
monkey; if you are wearing red, you are angry Mr. Crabs from Sponge
Bob; and if you are wearing black, you are evil Ursula from The Little
Mermaid. Tommy likes to play baseball for the Indians at The Miracle
League field in Dublin and is excited to race with Team Heart and Soul!
This is his first season with the team.
