Quickstart Guide for Dante Trainer
1) Download the free limited version of Dante Trainer from here:

2) Find the download on your computer and unzip the file anywhere on the computer:

Now go into the folder Dante-Trainer and you see this:
Double click here
4) Double click on the file Dante-Trainer. The file may show as Dante-Trainer.html
Now the program opens in your Browser
5) If you use the Internet Explorer browser, you may see the following screen:

Click on the message with the orange bar.
6) Now the browser shows the Dante-Trainer program license agreement:
7) Scroll down the page and click on I agree:

8) Now you see the unregistered version of Dante-Trainer. It is limited to 200 Questions. You
can answer questions and familiarize yourself with the look and feel of the tool:
9) Whenever you have finished answering questions and you want to save your current
learning progress you can click on the diskette symbol at the top right. Then you see the
following screen:
Then press two buttons on your keyboard: While pressing and holding: [Ctrl] or [Strg] key you
press the key of the letter [D]. This opens a dialogue to save a bookmark/favorite in your
browser.

You can open this version of your learning progress by opening the bookmarks/favorites in
your browser:
FULL VERSION
In order to use the full version you need to do three things:
1) Get the free download version running (see above)
2) Buy a registration code (see step 10 below)
3) Do the registration within the program (see steps 11 – 12 below)
10) Go to the following page to buy the registration code:

Follow the on-screen instructions at the bottom of the page. At the end you see your
registration code. It is also emailed to you. It looks something like: ABCD-WXYZ
11) The registration code that is emailed to you needs to be entered into your free version of the
Dante-Trainer in order to make it a full version. To do so, click on the red box at the far left.
If that does not work, click on the diskette symbol at the far right and then click Registration.
12) Now you are on the registration page. Make sure you have an active Internet connection and
enter your registration code into the fields below. Then follow the onscreen steps.
