Recognize any of the kids in the picture above? Last year Dallastown 8th and 9th graders had the opportunity to travel to the Grand Canyon on a five day four night adventure. Most of them earned money to help pay for their trip and some even funded 100% of their trip. This trip is truly available to everyone by working with teachers. Your student has the opportunity to take a fun and educational trip to the Grand Canyon with his/her classmates. Dallastown teachers will be leading the group along with a guide to study the Canyon, take a float trip down the Colorado River, try rock climbing, mountain bike the red rocks of Sedona and much more. Learning has never been so exciting! The trip is scheduled from 6/20/2013 to 6/24/2013. We are using a professional firm called Grand Classroom to plan every aspect of the trip. They specialize in Grand Canyon tours, and will be working with us from the planning stages through every moment of our adventure. Visit the Grand Canyon trip webpage at www.grandclassroom.com. For the price of $1839 everything on the trip will be covered – all transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing and evening activities as well as medical insurance. Grand Classroom staff members will be on hand to help ensure that our trip goes smoothly. Please attend our informational meeting on April 2nd, 2012 at 7pm in the cafeteria of the Middle School for more information. You can also check the Dallastown Middle School website under “Events”.
