Parmesan Cheese
• Named after an area in Italy Parma, Parmesan is one of the world's most popular and widely-enjoyed cheeses.
• Parmesan is a hard, dry cheese made from skimmed or partially skimmed cow’s milk. It has a hard, pale-golden
rind and a straw-coloured interior with a rich, sharp flavour.
• Parmesan cheese can be served in soups, salads, as a topping to pasta and pizza. It also adds a flavour rich
snap to fruit and meat.
• Parmesan cubes are pre-cut to fit hand held graters, allowing servers to provide that homemade fresh grated
experience at the dining table.

Soft & Semi Soft Cheeses
• Swiss cheese has a clean, slightly sweet, nutty flavour that develops during the aging process.

• Monterey Jack cheese is also in the soft cheese family and is a cooked, semi-soft cheese. Jack cheese has a
high moisture content, melts easily, and has a softer, buttery flavour.
• Swiss cheese is a great melting cheese that is superb for fondues, quiches, sauces and casseroles. Upgrade
sandwich offerings with pre-sliced portions of tasty Canadian Swiss Cheese.

Cheddar Cheeses
• The cornerstone of any cheese line-up is the pale yellow, sharp-tasting cheddar cheese. The earliest record we
have of Cheddar is 1170, and was originally made in the English village of Cheddar in Somerset. Depending on its
stage in the aging process, Cheddar has flavours that range from a mellow mild (younger) to a highly complex
and sharp strong taste (higher aging).
