Sojourner SolarLoan Program Application Congratulations on taking steps towards environmental sustainability. NPHS, through the Sojourner Solar LŽĂŶ program, offers up to $Ϯϱ,000 for each eligible household to be used to finance the purchase and installation of solar panels for their eligible homewithin the Inland Valley. The program is intended for homeowners who are interested in affordable solar panel options for their home to help reduce their monthly energy costs. The program is designed to not only reduce homeowners monthly energy costs but also to create a sustainable future for the Inland Valley by lessening the homeowners carbon footprint. The goal of the program is to make solar panels accessible to families in the Inland Valley who may otherwise not have access to purchasing green energy alternatives. The NPHS Sojourner Solar Loan is a 15 year fully amortized loan at a 3% interest rate for eligible homeowners who intend to owner occupy their home during the duration of the loan. The loan will have monthly payments throughout the duration of the loan having a balance. There is no prepayment penalty for borrowers who complete payments ahead of schedule. Funds are available on a first come, first served basis with a fully completed intake form. In order to effectively determine your eligibility, please complete this application as thoroughly and accurately as possible. Please note that you must use an NPHS Approved Installer once ruled eligible for the program. The application, alongwith all required documents must be submitted in order for NPHS staff to review for eligibility. When you are qualified you will be issued a letter of pre-approval while you begin the process of getting estimates from contractors for the project cost.
