Four girls
run away
over cash
BY HILTON 0TENY0
A woman in Lugari sub
county is appealing to the
public to help find her four
children who went missing
JacklineHertta (class
eight), Dorcas Nasimiyu
(class five), Anne Masitsa
(class three) and Margaret
Nakhumicha (class two)
ran away on June 10 after
Shi,000 went missing from
their house.
The four are pupils at
Sango Primary School.
The mother, Eunice
Makokha, yesterday said
the children left home for
fear they would be beaten
by her.
"They came home from
school and one of them
came to the farm where I
was weeding maize. She
asked if I could let them
eat avocadoes that were in
the house," she said.
The mother of six said
she had left Shi,000 next
to the fruits but she did not
find the money when she
returned to the house.
She said the girls denied
seeing the cash before run
ning away.
